ThanksShould I use a Concealer Stick Before or After Foundation??
---Before Foundation

Okay, first off I hope it's not that Concealer Lipstick shaped thing. Those thing will ruin your skin! They're oily and clog your pores. Anyways, I'd use the Clean And Clear Concealing Treatment Stick, they're marvelous! (Pore wise, and covering up)

To the point. What I do is I'll put it on the blemish and wait a few seconds (maybe like 30) and then depending on how red this blemish is I'll rub it in. Always smoothing the edges to let the color remain on the blemish. If your applying it all over your face. Then what I do is rub it in and then use bronser on top, after it's dry (not moist) to give it that ';glow';Should I use a Concealer Stick Before or After Foundation??
i do both- just because sometimes i forget before and when i do it after it looks real good it was a mistake gone good for me- but if you got the right concealer to match your skin and make-up (dont use make-up btw- use tinted moisturizer which is much better for your skin and lighter- i use laura mercier's primer to diminish lines and pores-AWESOME! and her tinted moisturizer with SPF 20- IT'S THE BEST!) you should be good. Go to sephora to get the colour that best fits you! OH! AND i use boot's no.7 under eye concealer for everything you wanna hide I love it- they say its the same exact product as the very awesome but expensive yves saint laurent concealer but way affordable and at target!
before
A cream concealer goes on first (Cover girl has come out with a good one that does not smear: stays put even with application of foundation). The concealer stick type goes on after the foundation (a brush works well for this, does not smear the foundation as much as a finger would). Some concealers are now coming out in a tube with brush attached and you turn the crank to get the concealer into the brush. I don't care for these because bacteria can grow--and cleaning the brush (shampoo works best) may allow water to enter into the concealer. You hate to spend a lot of money on trial and error (like me, I got a lot to hide, ha!). Good luck

you can do it either way. I find that under foundation makes it blend better but that depends on what products I'm using at the time. Some concealers settle in the little lines under my eyes so in that case, it is helpful to put it on over the foundation.
i say after u put your foundaition.
you aplly it before you foundation and you only use it under your eyes and where ever you have dark spots (oh yeah it has to be alittle lighter than your skin tone) than you apply your foundation all over your face and front neck. also another trick is apply it to your eyelids so the eyeshadow will last
I use it sometimes before and after. But mostly before ^^
I've done both and I have found that if you do it after, it blends much better. Also, when I would put it on first, most of it would rub away when I put on the foundation and I'd just have to reapply anyway.
after...if its for acne..and use a little amount on the bumps with a q-tip..

before..if its for dark undereye circles..use a little amont and sponge it on
after is best as it blends in with your make up. dont rub it in use you finget at pat it in until it blends.btw im using my bf yahoo account.
Concealer first and only where you need it than apply your foundation over whole face.

Personally I just put on concealer and a tinted shear powder all over, works with out looking to over done.
you do it before putting the foundation on.
you use concealer first, than foundation, than powder, than blush

many women use it under their eyes and areas that they are covering up blimishes or discolorations with it

i personally like avon's beyond color radiant lifting concealer, i also use the beyond color skin smoothing compact foundation which worked both as a foundation and as a powder...saves time and money!

before
Before, and usually on blemishes. If you have dark circles under your eyes it works well to help conceal them.
Most people would put it on BEFORE foundation yet I found if you are going to wear foundation for sure, you should use it AFTER because then you can see which parts need ';extra'; coverage that you foundation didn't cover. There would be no point in cover up with concealer if your foundation is going to cover it anyways. Also, when you put it on BEFORE, you tend to smush it around when you apply your foundation.
You should use a concealer before, foundation. This will give you an even tone. You can use a concealer stick any place on your face that has discolorations.
Concealer goes on before foundation. A primer is used before both. Moisturizer before all but after cleansing your face.
Pat on concealer. Then if you want no 'seam' between your foundation and the concealer, pat foundation on over the concealer. If it is around your eyes, however, you may want the concealer on top to 'brighten' the color of your eyes. Blend with a sponge if that's the case so you don't have a harsh reverse 'raccoon' eye look about you. For red, a green concealer will tone down. For sallow skin, a lilac concealer will perk up. For dark circles under your eyes, yellowish works on most skin types.
Use a little before on the most obvious blemishes the apply your foundation and touch up if needed! this stops you using more foundation and concealor than you actually need! xxx
Whatever your foundation dose not cover your concealer will! You always want to use Foundation first. take it from me.

I鈥檓 a successful makeup artist, going on 15 yrs .
concealer should be applied after foundation. this is because if you put it first, when you apply foundation it will be rubbed off.
