Well a yellow concealer stick is used to conceal bluish bruises, under-eye circles and mild red tones on the face, and a green concealer stick is used to neutralize red tones on the skin. Use this for covering blemishes, zits, red blotches, rosacea, port-wine stains.

What do the concealer colors (like yellow and green) mean / do?
Ah, color theory...
Green is the complimentary color of Red, meaning it is the best color to dull the red on your face.
Yellow is the complimentary color of Purple. The color underneath your eyes that is unattractive.
When you mix complimentary colors together you get brown, or a neutral.
So these colors get rid of those icky colors you don't want showing through your make-up.What do the concealer colors (like yellow and green) mean / do?
The different colors of concealers are to tone down unwanted skin tones such as ruddiness, under eye circles, a shallow complexion. A dept store cosmetic sales person should be able to tell you what the different colors are used for and how to apply it. Usually blended onto the skin and covered over with a foundation.
Yellow works for darker skin than you usually have, like undereye circles work well for that. Green is for spots that are redder -- bad sunburns, uneven splotches, zits, etc. The different colors are higher technology of makeup than the old days of just skin-toned concealer.
red and green are contrast colors, as well as purple and yellow.
when you apply a small amount of green concelant to a red spot like a pimple it makes it look less red! as well as yellow with purple-ish marks, such as bruises or infected pimples... i use the green alot for my facial eczema as well as other blemishes! works like a champ!
green concealers are for blemishes. they're supposed to cancel out the red
and the yellow ones are for your eyes. i think they're supposed to hide the blue from the veins.
green covers up all the red and puffy noticable blemishes while the yellow covers the purple under your eyes from lack of sleep
