This whole palette includes so many things!

It has three different shades which is great for all kinds of blemishes. They have one that is just a regular concealer so that it covers scars and such blemishes. They also have one shade that is a little on the olive/green-ish side so that is great for neutralizing and covering red blemishes. They also have a salmon-toned concealer that is good for under eye circles. The palette also includes a little powder for setting the concealer and two quality brushes (not sponge tip applicators) for applying. It is a great qualitied palette that also comes with an awesome price! =D It is $11. It may sound a bit overpriced but if you really think about it, you're getting three different kinds of concealers for different blemishes, a setting powder, AND two mini brushes. I think it's a great deal =)

HOPE I HELPED!What is the best drugstore concealer 10 points?
I use max factor's pan stick. It's a foundation in stick form, but I've found it's actually worked amazingly as a concealer. I use it as a regular foundation as well, but I mix moisturizer in it so that it is sheer. The coverage is amazing. It covers ever blemish I have, and it doesn't feel like i'm wearing anything. It's around 8 bucks I think.
I use Ulta concealer and i like it, i've heard that Physicians Formula and NYX are good. If you want to cover up redness, then you should get a green one. The Ulta brand is skintone, it blends easily and it is very smooth.
Rimmel's concealer is still the best. It goes on really well without much rubbing and stays put for hours. Wouldn't leave home without it! I found that Bare Minerals has been great! I use the Bare Minerals concealer shade is called Well-Rested; I apply a minimal amount using a concealer brush around my eyes to minimize dark circles and wrinkles, then I use a powder brush to lightly apply to my face before applying the Bare Minerals foundation. I finish off my make-up routine with the Mineral Veil (one of many shades to choose from) which is a translucent (almost sheer) powder to ';set'; my make-up.

Also, with Bare Minerals, use the minimal amount while you swirl, tap, and buff on the powder.

Other things to consider and remember are to prepare your skin with a moisturizer/ ';primer,'; (bareVitamins Skin Rev-er) and to match your make-up color as closely as possible to your skin coloring.

I hope that helps!
Try Clinique makeup! Its great! It does not look cakey or rub of easy.
That is a bad idea... You want to get a really nice foundation. Concealer is made to be a lot thicker formula.
I've never put concealer all over my face. However, to cover red you should use a yellow concealer to hide the red and then use full coverage foundation. If your skin is oily, cleanse and then put an oil absorbing lotion on and let it soak in. Apply a light dusting of translucent powder and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Apply a light amount of yellow concealer in the red areas of your face using your finger. Pat it on. Apply an oil free full coverage foundation. If you're looking for something that won't rub off, try Senegence Cosmetics. They are waterproof and wonderful. They have a whole line of waterproof cosmetics. It goes on light but you can build it up to full coverage. When your foundation is dry, put on another dusting of powder in a matching shade or translucent. Good luck!
I use MAC Studio Fix powder and I really like it. I have a lot of red on my skin, to and it really helps cover that up. It's also really easy to put on in a hurry and thats really all I need if I only have a minute. I'm 15 and in hs, so I really don't need much make up, so it's perfect to put on on the way to school!
I only wear concealer under my eyes. Try MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation. It has great coverage but doesn't look all cakey. It's WONDERFUL!!

Good luck!! *Devin*
I have had acne all my life. I first use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab every night to remove make up. And a routine of this will clear up acne and oilly skin. I use the green aclohol just because its a better smell. Then When you put your make up on Put your liquid on under your eyes and other key spots.

NO DO NOT put it on like pancake face. Then let it dry add your powder foundation on top of that your blush then eye make up. In that order

U should try bare minerals
Concealer is only good for spot treatments, but I don't use it at all.

I use a liquid foundation, then once it is blended in I put on translucent powder, which I blend in with a HUGE powder brush.

remember to go below the jawline and blend in with your neck too.

Powder foundation is so outdated, use the liquid first.
Try using a yellow concealer to counteract your red. I've gone to mostly using yellow, instead of skin tone, and I like the results.

I did some writing for a beauty site last year, and using concealer just where you need it in the middle of you face is a fashion model's trick. It works too. Usually I don't even need to add powder. Try several looks and see what works for you.

Remember, concealer is designed to be used as a very light coat. If it's coming off visibly during the day, you may be applying too much. Use just a light coverage around the nose, under the eyes, and also under the brows and lightly on the upper lip. Blend it into invisibility. Then, step back from the mirror and look. Add another light layer wherever you identify the need--then blend again.

It's always a good idea to wash your face, use a toner like Sea Breeze, and apply a moisturizer every time before you start out your daily face procedure. If you allow the moisturizer to soak up into your skin for 8 - 10 minutes before you apply foundation or mineral makeup, you should have the perfect canvas prepared. Any other problems I'd directly ask the seller about. There are lots on e-Bay.

These are great tips to share--especially for summer makeup.linahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17209396779512304758noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2170628668032181364.post-39012712158036520012010-06-23T20:58:00.000-07:002010-06-23T20:58:07.845-07:00Almay smart shade concealer does it work?do it work or not it so explain why or why not

10 points for the best answer also how it feels on your skin

it is lightweight or cakey

thanks in advanceAlmay smart shade concealer does it work?
I have it. You can either use the powder you use to set your makeup or a really light eyeshadow color. If you directly put a darker color over your eyes it will sort of clump in spots and not look smooth. Can concealer work as an eyeshadow base?
I wouldnt recommend it but i know some people do use it as an eyeshadow base. I dont recommend it because its not going to make your colors look as vibrant and make them last as long as an eye primer would. Plus it might not withstand oily eyelids and might make your eyeshadow crease (which i dread!!). So yea but try it might work for you!!!!
Especially if you are using a darker color eyeshadow, a concealer will lighten it up a bit to keep it from looking too whore-ish. Just make sure you don't use soo much because it will make it look caked on. My suggestion is to use a very light stick concealer from NYC. It is really cheap and works great!

good luck!
yes. a lot of people use concealer as an eyeshadow base. i personally don't wear eyeshadow but i know that it's a common thing to do.
I suppose it could, but I don't use it for that. Cover the green with your normal concealer.Should concealer be a shade lighter than the foundation?
It's really a matter of opinion. If you're covering your under eye circles, then yes, it should be a shade lighter.

If not, some people prefer to wear a shade lighter or one that matches their skin tone. If you're adding concealer over foundation instead of under, it may look a little strange, even with blending, if you decide to put a lighter color over a darker one.Should concealer be a shade lighter than the foundation?
It depends what you're trying to hide. If it's dark circles, then yes it needs to be a shade lighter. They will have you sit down and they will match the right corrector for you.

Good Luck! =)
covering your under eye circles when u have sensitive skin is a really hard task but there is one concealer that has worked wonders on my skin, it is called fast fix concealer by sally hansen inspired by carmindy it is really helpful because it is cream concealer
physicians formula concealer for undereye circles.

It's amazing. It's called Circle Rx.
I use bare minerals and it takes the dark circles away
i use bare minerals. it is a powder, but it doesn't clog your pores!
I'll probably sound like a snob, but I think I'm the best person to ask on this because I have really severe dark undereye circles and sensitive skin. I've been looking for ages a product that would cover them up. After a ton of research, I finally came down to Bobbi Brown concealer and Corrector. They're pricey, but they completely cover up everything

It has a ';yellow'; base which is opposite on the color wheel of dark undereye circles, so it balances it out well. I've also seen it used by at least three professional make-up artists, who have all the know-how into which high-end brands are the best for what.

I'm super happy with mine.

You said your skin is very dry, well, the Bobbi Brown concealer feels really moisturizing on it and doesn't dry out my sensitive eye area (and mine is pretty dry!. :) However, you might want to think of getting an eye cream if you don't already have one. I'm currently using the Chanel eye cream with spf 15, a sample, but it it's costly at $60. I've heard the RoC eyecream with retinol (vitamin A to fight wrinkles and plump the eye area) is super good--I've been meaning to try it, but everytime I go to CVS its' sold out! so it must be good ;) --and I haven't heard of a better one. I imagine it's half the cost of the Chanel one, but if you want an effective one, you have to pay more. I once bought a L'Oreal one and it actually dried out my eyes and even gave me a new wrinkle! So don'[t try those. I actually heard L'Oreal skin products are awful, but I have heard the Loreal Voluminous (not the Natural) is pretty good.

I've heard some of the MAC liquid foundations have given some ppl cystic acne (horrible), so I'd shy away from them. Despite their cult following, I think they sometimes use harsh products to get the look at the expense of how it might hurt the skin in the long-run. Just an observation. Nothing compares to MAC eyeshadows, however. ;)

I don't know about Benefit Cosmetics, but I think they're supposed to be good for sensitive skin. I haven't tried them, though.

Hope this helps! Good luck in your search!

I seriously recommend going to a Bobbi Brown counter and asking them to help find you an undereye concealer, (they're specifically targeted for undereye circles). And if it's not enough, with the Bobbi Brown salmon corrector underneath it, it should be completely gone. :)

Even if you think it's too pricey, I really recommend trying it. The cheaper concealers just seem to hard to blend for the delicate undereye area, crease, are streaky and really... It's worth it to splurge on the more expensive brands for concealer. :)linahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17209396779512304758noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2170628668032181364.post-22953623547131364022010-06-23T20:54:00.003-07:002010-06-23T20:54:51.052-07:00Best Concealer to cover dark circles For a 14 year old? x?Okay dark circles run through the family %26amp; i also have hay fever %26amp; asthma So this probs has something to do with it.
